Deborah Furgason, MA, LPC has been working to positively enhance the lives of people since 1987. She has worked in a variety of helping professions in several states, most recently Wekiva Springs Hospital, a psychiatric hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, treating addiction, mental illness, depression and anxiety as well as coping skill development. Additionally, Deborah worked as an Intake Coordinator at Footsteps Counseling Center in Virginia supporting individuals in the development of personal growth, effective communication; marital, parenting and relationships issues as well as healing for adversity, loss and grief. Deborah is also licensed for Substance Abuse Specialty authorization in Wisconsin.
Deborah is becoming a regular "go-to" therapist on the live blog talk show, "God, where were you when . . ." and also specializes in the use of spirituality and faith in the treatment process and welcomes clients who seek to integrate their Christian faith into the treatment process. She enjoys helping people achieve greater fulfillment, use emotions more productively and develop healthier life perspectives. Deborah believes that all people have the potential to live their lives more fully and is dedicated to helping clients map out a more fulfilling life journey.
